Job Description:

Operate DWH systems and Assure Services availability , performance, backups, resiliency to meet the service target levels and optimization to provide effective solutions and services to support DWH business areas. Including remedial and preventative maintenance & diagnostic functions for IT DWH .

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree of Computer Science or it’s relevant.
  • Minimum 1-year experience with relevant IT operations work.
  • Must be creative to implement enhancements in a cost-effective matter.
  • Good thinking and awareness with decision making skills.
  • Good organizational skills plus the ability to motivate people across the organization to provides solutions
  • Good individual with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all level.
  • Good knowledge of banking systems.
  • Sound leadership, critical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of business management and organization.
  • Problem solving Skills.
  • Good command of English language.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the overall DWH Operations activities.
  • Investigate and resolve IT DWH Operations problems and open incidents reported by business parties.
  • Apply the quality check control steps on the DWH daily processes.
  • Applying the backups procedures according to backup policy.
  • Updating the DWH Operations procedures and SOP’s.
  • Test DWH software systems or applications for software enhancements or new produ
  • Map data between source systems, data warehouses, and data marts.
  • Monitor and optimize DWH stages; including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extractio
  • Operate comprehensive data warehouse systems to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, according to customer requirements.
  • Provide regular status reports to DWH business parties on a regular basic.
  • Maintain high quality of all deliverable and provide efficient guidance to the team member.
  • Ensure that all activities within the DWH Operations process are being performed at the highest possible level of quality and that it meets its associated Service Level targets.
  • Make a daily call with the concerned business parties to check the satisfaction level.
  • Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department to ensure continuity of work.
